A Bit About Me
As a Registrar at Latrobe Regional Hospital in Traralgon, I remember treating one of my first stroke patients and running down the corridor yelling “time is brain!”. It was the start of a career in Neurology and stroke medicine. While we have come a long way with providing regional and rural patients with access to hyperacute stroke therapies, we still have a long way to go in ensuring that all Australians receive specialist stroke care throughout their whole stroke journey.

I use telehealth frequently in different aspects of stroke care and even creatively used technology in stroke research, such as body-cameras to assess stroke processes of care. I believe that technology can bridge the gaps in geography and deliver equitable stroke care for all.
